Mission Endowment supports nonprofit organizations and programs that carry out Emmanuel’s mission to enable the hands of God both locally and globally.
Local groups that often receive funding from the endowment include Christmas for Kids, Sojourners, school backpack programs, Family Promise of the Palouse, Lutheran Campus Ministry, Emmanuel’s Preschool (Scholarships), Lutherhaven (Scholarships), and the Idaho Youth Ranch. Global groups include Heifer International, Lutheran World Relief, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services, and the Tumaini Girls School in Tanzania.
Mission Endowment also collects items for Baby Care, School, and Personal Care Kits that are sent to Lutheran World Relief for global distribution.
