Mission Work

Mission Endowment supports nonprofit organizations that further Emmanuel’s mission to enable the hands of God both locally, regionally, and globally. 

Nonprofits that often receive funding from the endowment include Christmas for Kids, Sojourners, School, Family Promise of the Palouse, Lutheran Campus Ministry, Emmanuel’s Preschool, Camp Lutherhaven, and the Idaho Youth Ranch.  Global groups include Heifer International, Lutheran World Relief, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services, and the Tumaini Girls School in Tanzania. 

Mission Endowment also collects items for Baby Care, School, and Personal Care Kits throughout the year that are sent to Lutheran World Relief for global distribution.
